Hey! Use this code for your badges instead, so you can change the size

<a href=”http://LINK.com/”><img src=”http://IMAGE” width=”35” height=”35” border=”0”></a>

Then you can adjust the size and put it in your tab xx

blxiss

hi, my html is acting all weird. basically, my recent reblogged pictures won't show up. please help me?(:

I suggest you change the theme :)

peppermintys
hiii, i'm currently making a theme, and i saved it last night (im using a sideblog so i can keep track of how it looks) and after saving it i noticed the scrollbar had gone! i can't scroll anymore, and im not exactly sure why? its not just my browser, i checked that.

Check the theme again and make sure you didn’t alter smthing there :)

ughvogue
Ohh and do you know where people get those panda gifs as their image tab ? Like on some blogs there's a gif and when you hover over it, the tab comes... idk how to explain this actually...:(

Could you give me an example as to how it looks?

Network Badge!

Add this code to anywhere on your blog (description, etc) and you have yourself a badge!

<a href=”LINK YOU WANT IT TO GO TO”><img src=”IMAGE YOU WANT IT TO SHOW” width=”35” height=”35” border=”0”></a>

shorekisses

Adding a Favicon

What is a favicon?

When you visit a site, you should see a little icon on the tab, next to the site title. That is a favicon.

image

To add a favicon, first you need to choose one from here. When you have found one you like, you need to right click on it and select ‘Copy Image URL’.

Then, you need to go to customize & find <link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”{Favicon}”> in your HTML

You then need to replace {Favicon} with your favicon URL that you copied earlier.

Your final code should look something like this:

<link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lkl5luW7uM1qfamg6.gif”>

If you don’t see <link rel-“shortcut icon” href=”{Favicon}”> in your HTML, paste it right after the <head> tag. You can also make your own favicons by uploading your image here, and then uploading it here. Then take the URL and replace {Favicon} with that.

If you need any help with this just message us! :)

How to add a Drop Down Links Menu

We’ve gotten a request for this tutorial, so here it is! You can see an example of this on our blog.

1. Paste this code in your description, and then edit as needed.

<form>

<select onChange=”location=this.options[this.selectedIndex].value;” style=”color:#FF3366;background-color:#FFFFFF;font-family:arial;font-size:30px;”>

<option value=”URL”>NAME</option>

<option value=”URL”>NAME</option>

<option value=”URL”>NAME</option>

<option value=”URL”>NAME</option>

<option value=”URL”>NAME</option>

</select>

</form>

For more links, you can copy and paste the “<option value=”URL”>NAME</option> as needed. If you need help with this, just message us! Also, if it doesn’t work, remember to retype the quotations.

Small Music Player

Requested by anonymous

The final music player will look something like this:

image

First, go to hypster.com & make an account or login if you already have one. Then, you need to make a playlist

Once you have done this, click here to customize your music player. Then, you need to click the drop down menu next to ‘Player colour scheme’ & select ‘customize…’

and then choose the colours you want the music player & the background of the music player to be. Make sure you click update! Then, copy the embed code it gives you. To make the music player small you need to change the height to 15 & change the width to 50. You also need to remove all the text highlighted in brown:

image

Now paste your code into your description or somewhere into your HTML

Or, you can put it in a slide down music tab, click here for the tutorial :)

If you need any help with this just message us! :)

UPDATE:

Hypster has a new option for a small music player without the need to change the height.

1) choose the classic player option and then choose ‘custom…’ for player colour scheme.

2) Then choose the option ‘small’ in the size menu :)

3) however, you still have to delete the text in brown for your code.
